Chapter 69: Listing comments

Since it’s going to be available, I naturally have to write something, some words for its release.

First and foremost, I am extremely grateful to all the esteemed Readers for following along and supporting this book!

As a newbie writing a book for the first time, to achieve such results is, honestly, quite a pleasant surprise and unexpected.

When I first started writing this book, I had just finished the great fast-food restaurant’s ‘I Remain Evergreen in the Cultivation World,’ and I found it very interesting. I felt that Li Ergou was very suitable to be the protagonist, and I also felt some regret about the Young Miss’s storyline, so I thought about using Li Ergou as the protagonist to write this book.

It just so happened that the factory had nothing going on at the end of the year, so I went home early for the New Year. Being bored at home, I started writing with a playful attitude.

Now that it’s going to be available, my mood is naturally not as casual as it was at the beginning; I’m also a bit nervous.

Mainly, I don’t have much confidence in what I’ll write next; I’m unsure.

Perhaps constantly screwing in screws has made me numb, devoid of emotion.

This has led to me having no energy for anything, and when writing novels, there isn’t much emotion or feeling in it; it’s plain throughout, without much showing off or face-slapping.

Then, there’s the fact that I have no saved drafts and type slowly, which makes me anxious.

Honestly, you might not believe it.

I started writing this book in January, writing a few thousand words every day, but considering I’d be visiting relatives for the New Year, I held off on publishing it. By the time I published it in February, I already had eighty thousand words.

But now, I only have a few chapters of saved drafts left, and those were saved last week.

One reason is slow typing; with two fingers, I can only type about a thousand words an hour, and if I get stuck, it might take several hours.

Secondly, I was enthusiastic when I published the book, but then I got single-digit daily collections and no comments, which completely deflated my Qi. I didn’t type at all that week; if I hadn’t had saved drafts, I feel like it would have just ended.

That feeling was truly grueling.

Later, when the trial recommendations came and I saw some results, I felt motivated, and my initial playful attitude became a bit more serious, leading to some anxiety about gains and losses. I reread and revised the remaining drafts repeatedly.

Just for the plot before the release, I deleted and revised a lot, making adjustments back and forth many times, which also delayed my typing and led to many discarded drafts.

I can only say that writing novels, with high aspirations but low execution, and obsessive-compulsive disorder, is truly undesirable.

Without further ado, let’s talk about what happens after the release.

The book will be officially available at 12 PM sharp, and I will release several saved chapters at that time.

I checked, and it’s a total of twelve thousand words, which meets the rule of five chapters for release. With what I continue to type today, reaching fifteen thousand words shouldn’t be a problem.

In short, I will write as much as I can!

As for extra chapters, it will be one extra chapter for a Hall Master, five for an Alliance Master, and one for every five hundred monthly votes.

The intention is just to motivate myself; after all, I don’t have saved drafts and type slowly, so I can’t repay too much.

As for updates, I’m afraid to say too much and then fall short, so I’ll guarantee five thousand words. If the first day’s performance is good, I’ll try for seven thousand, to see if I can push myself and not be so lazy.
