Beast Taming: Starting From Zero

Chapter 1031: Black Ram

Hospital.

Inside a ward, through the window, the setting sun looked like blood; it was already dusk.

And inside, it was filled with all sorts of flowers.

When Qiao Sang woke up, the first thing she saw was Ya Bao, Lu Bao, Gang Bao, Qing Bao, and Bao Wu Wu’s heads gathered in a circle, leaning in.

“Ya!”

“Ice Emperor!”

“Steel Sword!”

“Qing Qing!”

“Wu Wu!”

Seeing their Yu Beast Master wake up, Ya Bao and the others showed excited expressions, calling out in surprise, even the usually aloof and calm Lu Bao and Gang Bao were no exception.

Qiao Sang received a backlash; her hearing was astonishing, and such close-range calls were too loud for her, so she couldn’t help but cover her ears.

Ya Bao and the others realized something and immediately fell silent.

“What happened to me?” Qiao Sang propped herself up on the bed and asked.

“Ya!”

“Ya!”

“Ya!”

Ya Bao babbled on about the situation at the time.

Lu Bao, Gang Bao, Qing Bao, and Bao Wu Wu nodded in agreement from time to time.

I withstood an A-grade Beastmaster and so many wild Pets that came out of the secret realm cracks, but I didn’t expect to end up in the hospital at the last moment… Qiao Sang listened, pressed her forehead, and recalled: “I remember now, I think I saw a pair of super terrifying eyes at that time, and then I lost consciousness.”

As she spoke, she scanned the ward. Her first thought was:

Holy crap, why are there so many flowers?

Her second thought was:

Where’s Little Qunbao?

Before she could ask, the ward door was pushed open, and Mi Jiala walked in and asked:

“What eyes?”

Qiao Sang was not surprised that Teacher Mi Jiala had heard their conversation from outside the door. She collected her thoughts and replied:

“They were just a pair of super big, super terrifying eyes, right inside the ghost mist.”

She paused, then added: “They were dark red.”

Mi Jiala pondered for a moment, then seemed to think of something, her expression slightly changed, and she took out her phone and typed something.

The phone vibrated, and the other end responded.

After about five seconds, Mi Jiala handed the phone over and asked:

“Are these the eyes?”

Qiao Sang looked at it carefully and said with a definitive tone:

“It’s these ones.”

Hearing this, Mi Jiala’s expression instantly became extremely complex.

“Teacher, what kind of Pet’s eyes are these?” Qiao Sang asked.

“Mihei Ramu,” Mi Jiala said.

Qiao Sang’s eyes widened in astonishment, and she said in disbelief:

“The legendary Pet, Mihei Ramu?”

“That’s right,” Mi Jiala finished, then looked at Qiao Sang with a somewhat complex expression: “No wonder you received such a great fortune.”

Qiao Sang was utterly bewildered:

“What fortune?”

Mi Jiala didn’t answer. Instead, she went to the bedside table, picked up a medical report, and handed it over.

Qiao Sang took it, quickly scanned it, and finally her gaze fixed on a number. Her eyes widened in surprise, and she exclaimed:

“My brain domain has reached 59%?”

Mi Jiala said:

“After you fainted, Ice Emperor Ram used Healing Light on you, but you still didn’t wake up, so I sent you to the hospital for a full body check-up. The doctor said there was nothing wrong with your physical condition; it was just that your brain domain had increased too much, and you needed a good sleep.”

Qiao Sang was both shocked and delighted.

She never expected that she would wake up from 50% brain domain to 59%, only 1% away from reaching 60%!

That was 60% brain domain, a condition that many B-level Beast Tamers could not achieve in their entire lives, yet she was almost there just by sleeping.

Qiao Sang suppressed her excited emotions and asked:

“Did Mihei Ramu help?”

“It should be,” Mi Jiala nodded slightly, sighing: “Besides it, no other Pet could have such ability. The doctor said this brain domain increase is very miraculous; it’s a forced increase, yet it’s within your tolerance range and didn’t cause any damage to your brain domain.”

Qiao Sang was stunned for a moment:

“If there’s nothing wrong with my brain domain, isn’t it because of Lu Bao’s Healing Light?”

Mi Jiala smiled: “The damage caused by forcibly increasing the brain domain is permanent. Healing Light can restore one’s state. If your brain domain was damaged, even if Healing Light was used, it would at most restore your state, and you wouldn’t suffer from the sequelae of brain domain damage. But it would be absolutely impossible to fully recover and continue to increase your brain domain to advance.”

“If Healing Light had such a miraculous effect, all Yu Beast Masters could forcibly increase their brain domain and then recover completely. Not to mention S-Class Beast Master, even SS-grade Yu Beast Master could be found everywhere.”

That makes sense… Qiao Sang immediately thought of something and asked:

“Where’s Little Qunbao?”

Please… collect 6… books…!

“Ya!”

Before Mi Jiala could answer, Ya Bao cried out, and then blue light gleamed in its eyes.

The surrounding flower bouquets were instantly lifted into the air by an invisible force.

Qiao Sang turned her head and only then realized there was another bed next to them.

Lying on it was Little Qunbao, with its eyes closed, looking as if it was peacefully asleep.

“What happened to it?” Qiao Sang’s heart sank, and she asked nervously.

You know, Little Qunbao never sleeps.

“It’s just like you; its energy was also forcibly increased,” Mi Jiala said, looking at Little Qunbao on the bed: “Ice Emperor Ram has also used Healing Light on it, but it absorbed too much energy at once and couldn’t wake up immediately. You don’t need to worry; the doctor said it’s pretty much the same as you and will also wake up today.”

After hearing this, Qiao Sang couldn’t help but ask:

“It was fine when it absorbed energy at that time. I remember Little Qunbao was still fine when we came out.”

Mi Jiala’s expression became complex again:

“It was when you came out. Just like you, it should have been Mihei Ramu’s doing. At that time, a lot of ghost mist surged into its body, and it absorbed too much at once and also fainted.”

I didn’t expect you to have the same fortune as me… Qiao Sang completely relaxed. Then she thought of something else and asked in confusion:

“Why did Mihei Ramu help me and Little Qunbao?”

Mi Jiala glanced at her: “Do you think I can know what a legendary Pet is thinking?”

For some reason, Qiao Sang vaguely felt that her teacher’s gaze was rather resentful.

Mi Jiala continued:

“I didn’t even see Mihei Ramu’s eyes.”

It was resentment, alright… Qiao Sang coughed and scanned the room, changing the subject:

“These flowers are…?”

“They were all sent to you by people who came out of Lost Town,” Mi Jiala said.

So many flowers, how many people must have sent them… Qiao Sang was touched, and then she thought of a very serious matter and asked:

“How long have I been asleep?”

“One day,” Mi Jiala said.

Qiao Sang breathed a sigh of relief:

“That’s good, I didn’t miss Bao Wu Wu’s secret realm crack.”

“Wu Wu…”

Bao Wu Wu stared blankly at the young girl on the hospital bed.

Mi Jiala glanced at her: “Since you’re already here, even if you were still asleep, the person who picked you up last time would have sent it to find the secret realm crack.”

Qiao Sang also realized that her worries were a bit excessive and changed the subject again:

“What happened to that person later?”

Mi Jiala didn’t react for a moment: “Who?”

“That guy who spread the news about Du Ling Meow,” Qiao Sang said.
