Apocalypse I Have One More Keyword Than Others

Chapter 906 - - Trick someone into coming and then kill them

—————✧✧✧✧—————

The fog of the Origin of Mankind recovered very quickly.

In just over two months, the density of the fog inside was about a third of what it had been when Duge absorbed it.

Thinking about it, that was normal, after all, the Origin of Mankind was a Divine Artifact that had given rise to a civilization; if the fog took decades to recover, the Thorne civilization couldn’t have possibly developed.

When the fog was still scarce initially, Duge had experimented with the Origin of Mankind once more, wanting to see if the fog could continue to enhance his body.

But after he absorbed the fog, there were no changes to his body, and Jannie was the same.

It seemed as if their modified bodies had become immune to the fog.

Inoculated once, immune for life!

Having confirmed this, Duge felt especially fortunate.

Although he had nearly been killed by the Origin of Mankind, his action of absorbing all the fog at that time was indeed the right gamble; otherwise, he would only have one superpower like Jannie, rather than being omnipotent like now.

With the help of the Origin of Mankind, Emperor Star began to produce Mutants en masse.

The once shunned Mutants were officially renamed the New Humans and became the dominant force on Emperor Star.

Although most Mutants awakened mediocre abilities, the number of A-grade and above Mutants still reached two hundred thousand.

This was a powerful force, which Duge had integrated to form a formidable army to counter the impending Thorne Divine Tribe.

Of these, about five thousand had the physical constitution to move through space.

Having dismantled the weapon systems of the Kaska Spaceships, Emperor Star had constructed many spacefaring vessels, deployed around the periphery of the planet, forming a defensive mechanism.

In Kaska’s eyes, this defense made up of spaceships was as good as paper.

Duge just smiled and said nothing.

Everyone thought his enemy was the Thorne Divine Tribe, only he knew that in this Universe, he had no real enemies at all.

Actually.

Every enemy on the Alien Battlefields had been stirred up by him, all to enhance his strength and make the dramas staged for Pan-Universe Entertainment a bit more exciting.

From beginning to end, Duge’s only enemy was the Pan-Universal Entertainment Company.

Emperor Star, the Thorne Divine Tribe were just stepping stones on his path of growth.

Having stirred up Chaos in the Universe with the help of the Origin of Mankind, Duge had reached his goal; was he really going to stay here and continue developing technology?

Developing technology was never as fast as stealing it…

Approaching the three-month mark, over a dozen white dots suddenly appeared on Emperor Star’s detection radar, swiftly closing in on Emperor Star.

At the sight of the spacecraft, the hearts of all the high-ranking officials of the Empire Federation leaped into their throats.

They were both nervous and excited about their first contact with an alien civilization.

Under Duge’s call for “life-or-death unity,” the radar detection screen was live-streamed to all on Emperor Star.

Seeing for themselves the descent of an alien civilization validated what Duge had said, but rather than rallying against a common enemy, the people of Emperor Star fell into a new round of panic, continuing to boost Duge’s attributes.

Even a mosquito leg was meat, Duge was not going to pass up any chances to enhance his physique.

“Halt, you have entered the jurisdiction of the Emperor Star System, please report your information, the Empire Federation requests to speak with your commander,” the outer defense headquarters of Emperor Star issued an interception command immediately.

“Surrender the Origin of Mankind, or else we will destroy your pitiful planet,” the response from the other side was incredibly arrogant and impolite.

They didn’t take this barren, tiny planet seriously at all, even if Emperor Star had New Humans transformed by the Origin of Mankind.

As if to demonstrate their military power, without waiting for a response from Emperor Star, a beam of light penetrated straight through the atmosphere from outside the Emperor Star System and struck a small island.

Boom—a deafening explosion.

The shockwave spread outward from the point of impact.

All structures on the island were destroyed into ruins by the shockwave; the high mountains on the island were sheared in half and then pulverized.

From space, the island appeared as if it had been struck by a meteor.

A deep crater hundreds of meters in diameter at the center of the island radiated outward, flattening everything around it.

The explosion caused a tsunami on the ocean, with only a tenth of the residents on the island surviving.

The defensive perimeter crafted by Emperor Star was as good as non-existent.

Watching the live explosion footage relayed by the satellite, Richard Wood and other high-ranking officials of Emperor Star had faces ashen.

Edward and the others didn’t look too good either; their strength had greatly improved under Duge’s training, but put any of them in the center of that explosion, and except for Gao Deng who had Divine Speed Force, the rest probably wouldn’t make it out.

The nuclear weapons of Emperor Star could also create such an impact, but they couldn’t hit a target millions of kilometers away with precision.

Was this the gap between civilizations?

All their superpowers seemed so laughable in the face of this artillery…

“Sub-light Speed Impact Cannon,” Kaska provided the answer, “A weapon designed to strike ground targets, which can only be intercepted by a Divine Light Shield.”

The crowd cast resentful looks at Kaska, what use were his words if they couldn’t have one too!

“This is a warning, our fleet will arrive in twenty minutes, get the Origin of Mankind ready, this is not a trade, it’s an order.”

The voice from the other side continued to come through the communication channel, with a hint of ridicule in its tone.

“Supreme God, what do we do now? Shall we fight them? They are too barbaric,” James asked, the plan was different from what they had envisioned.

They had hoped to use other civilizations to counter the Thorne Divine Tribe, but now the others had come in aggressively, not even bothering to communicate!
