Apocalypse I Have One More Keyword Than Others
Chapter 896 - - 605 There must be a conspiracy behind abnormal events_3

The space inside the spaceship was very spacious, with rooms provided for rest, and a control panel that Duge could not understand.
Jannie looked around, her eyes filled with curiosity.
“Kaska, can you show me the Star Map?” Duge surveyed the spaceship and asked.
“What do you need the Star Map for? We can’t leave this planet. I’ve seen the data you released; the power of that spaceship isn’t even enough to leave this star system.” Kaska spoke as he still opened the Star Map, pointing to a marker and saying, “The Wasteland is very vast; Emperor Star is at this location, and the nearest jump point is here, about three thousand light years away.”
Duge looked at the Star Map before him and asked, “Where are the Thorne Divine Tribe located?”
Kaska lit another marker: “Here. Their tribe is not very large, yet they control nine star systems. If they detect the signal from the Origin of Mankind, it would take at least over eight hundred space jumps to reach here.”
“How long would eight hundred space jumps take?” Jannie asked.
“A little over three months, I guess!” Kaska said annoyedly, “If my ship still had power, three months would be enough for us to get far away.”
“Kaska, can I see the Origin of Mankind?” Duge took his gaze from the Star Map.
The Star Map that Kaska had was larger than any Hill people’s Star Map Duge had ever seen. Without a spaceship, travelling physically through the stars was simply impossible unless one possessed the Space Gem from the Marvel Universe or transport magic like Doctor Strange.
He had no choice but to focus on the Origin of Mankind; hoping to enhance his power through dual cultivation with Jannie was too limited, and dual cultivating with five hundred Jannies wouldn’t enable him to traverse the stars either…
“What are you trying to do?” Kaska asked warily.
“Kaska, we are friends; you don’t need to be wary of me. If I really wanted to steal the Origin of Mankind, I would have just killed you just now.” Duge looked at him with a smile and said, “I could have taken your ship apart completely, and no matter how deep you hid the Origin of Mankind, I would have found it.”
“You make a good point.” Kaska thought for a moment, then pressed a few buttons on the control panel. A door next to him slowly opened, revealing a suspended box.
The box was engraved with strange patterns, made of an unknown material.
“Kou Nan, the Origin of Mankind is stored inside this box.” Kaska led Duge to the box and said, “It possesses powerful and mysterious force; you cannot touch it directly, otherwise, its power will cause you to burst and explode into pieces. Even the people of the Thorne Divine Tribe dare not touch their Divine Artifact directly…”
“How did you manage to steal it?” Duge asked as he looked at the floating box, and said, “The Thorne Divine Tribe slaughtered your people, and you are only left with three hundred people. The Origin of Mankind, being a Divine Artifact of the Thorne Divine Tribe, would surely be guarded. How could your three hundred people possibly steal their Divine Artifact from under their protection? Could it be that the Origin of Mankind is fake?”
“Impossible, this is definitely real, Kou Nan, though you are my friend, I won’t allow you to insult us. It was obtained after all our warriors sacrificed themselves.” Kaska looked at Duge, very angry.
“I just don’t know how you managed to steal the Origin of Mankind?” Duge smiled and said, “Kaska, you can’t even defeat me; it’s an impossible task.”
“We had the help of a mysterious person.” Kaska took a deep breath, “That mysterious person knew our plan; he used space magic to directly teleport us to the altar where the Origin of Mankind was stored…”
Shit!
Space magic!
Mysterious person!
Indeed, every abnormal event is backed by a conspiracy…
Duge’s heart beat fiercely for a few moments and said, “Kaska, I know you are the most powerful warrior of your planet, but we must prepare for the worst now…”
