Apocalypse I Have One More Keyword Than Others
Chapter 561 - - 485 reverses the rule changes made to Duge_1
—————✧✧✧✧—————
Only Duge on his own might have been able to hoodwink Luo Yan, but causing trouble everywhere with Zhang Xueqi in tow, there was no way they could keep it hidden from Luo Yan.
“Lin Hong, what are you trying to do?”
Luo Yan hurried over with Xu Wan and four others, and upon seeing the eleven Alien Warriors gathered behind Duge, he shouted sternly.
He had just managed to get these people in line and assigned to different areas, planning to win them over one by one, but here was Duge again, stirring up trouble, and the worst part was that he only found out about it more than twenty minutes later.
Luo Yan’s head ached in waves.
What did he think the National Defense Bureau was?
A public bathroom?
Come and go as one pleases.
It was only because Lin Hong didn’t intend to kill anyone this time; otherwise, in those twenty minutes, not one of the people he had recruited would have survived.
Looking at the eleven obedient figures following behind Duge, Luo Yan felt uneasy. He had already witnessed the special abilities of Alien Warriors and knew that if Duge and his group of more than ten people went crazy, Xu Wan and the other four wouldn’t be able to stop them.
Luo Yan hated this feeling of being held hostage.
“Nothing much, just helping you inquire about their key phrases and skills,” Duge said with a smile as he looked at Luo Yan and turned his gaze to the three people beside Xu Wan.
One woman and two men.
The woman looked at him with curiosity in her eyes.
But the gazes from the two men were mixed with nervousness and unease.
Obviously.
The group of Alien Warriors behind him had a considerable deterrent effect on them.
When Alien Warriors fight one-on-one, it’s about skill and attributes; in a brawl, it all boils down to luck.
Luo Yan asked, “Did you get any answers?”
“Xueqi!” Suddenly Duge spoke, and at the same time, he closed his eyes.
As he finished speaking.
Next to him, Zhang Xueqi suddenly raised a miniature flag he was holding in his hand. “Don’t move!”
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Three muffled sounds.
Except for Xu Wan and Xiang Jiaojiao, the other three men, including Luo Yan, were knocked to the ground by Duge.
Seeing Duge’s knife resting on the necks of two Alien Warriors, Zhang Xueqi flipped his hand, and the small flag disappeared back into the palm of his hand.
Luo Yan snapped back to reality, he sprang to his feet, staring at Duge in shock and fear, “Lin Hong, what do you want to do?”
Although Duge had been excessive previously, he had never laid a hand on him or Nalan Li, maintaining a basic level of respect.
Now suddenly attacked by Duge and seeing the Alien Warriors behind him obediently following Duge’s orders, a series of dreadful consequences flashed through his mind. It was over—the situation was about to spiral out of control!
“Old Luo, don’t be nervous, I just wanted you to experience for yourself how terrifying the Alien Warriors can be!” Duge looked at Luo Yan with a smile. “Also, you’re too slow. Let me help you reorganize the National Defense Bureau a bit.”
All four skills had been revealed, and the situation on Green Star was changing daily. Duge couldn’t let Luo Yan do as he pleased anymore.
Besides, Luo Yan knew too much about him, and it was only a matter of time before he needed to be taught a lesson.
Since they had already met, now was as good a time as any. After dealing him a blow, Luo Yan wouldn’t dare bite back.
“You…” Luo Yan held his cheek and took deep breaths, trying to calm himself down. His heart was filled with anger, but given the current situation, how could he dare to do anything to Duge?
…
It really was Duge!
He almost had her fooled, passing convincingly as a native, but she should have known. How could a native from Green Star, using mechas, ever defeat her, an Alien Warrior?
Xu Wan looked at Duge with envy, silently impressed.
First killing Mo Shengmin, then hitting Luo Yan, constantly pushing the limits of Green Star, yet somehow always immune to retaliation—when would she be able to reach such heights?
Xiang Jiaojiao’s eyes were also filled with curiosity as she looked at Duge. In less than twenty minutes, he had single-handedly won over a dozen Alien Warriors from various factions, something she found to be utterly impossible.
…
“Brother, what’s your key phrase?” Duge applied slight pressure, the blade cutting into the Alien Warrior’s neck as he asked with a smile.
“Deception,” the man hesitated before responding.
“Is that so?” Duge grabbed his head, turned it towards Zhang Xueqi, and pressed on his eyelids so his eyes couldn’t close, then Duge closed his own eyes, “Old Zhang, you ask.”
Zhang Xueqi smiled, showing off his small flag again, and asked, “What’s your key phrase?”
“Disguise,” the man said involuntarily.
Before the words were fully uttered.
Realizing something was wrong, the man began to struggle violently.
With a swift motion of his hand, Duge’s knife cut off his head. “I hate being deceived the most,” he declared.
“Lin Hong, what are you doing?” Luo Yan clenched his fists tightly and roared with anger. Killing Mo Shengmin had been done behind his back, and he could pretend not to know, but killing someone right in front of him was crossing the line.
Xu Wan’s pupils contracted as she looked at Duge, speechless.
Xiang Jiaojiao’s eyes twinkled, looking back and forth between Duge and Zhang Xueqi, without expressing her stance either.
Though Duge had killed one of her companions, and theoretically she should be angry and seek revenge, she just couldn’t find it in her heart to hate Duge. Instead, she saw his actions as very masculine, and his decisive manner perfectly matched her image of Duge.
“Director Luo, what key phrase did he tell you?” Duge casually tossed the severed head aside and picked up another Alien Warrior, holding the knife to his throat again.
Luo Yan paused for a moment, then said, “Deception.”
“If I didn’t come, the National Defense Bureau might have become Lanchen Star’s by now.” Duge chuckled slightly and shook his head before asking the person he held captive, “And you, what’s your key phrase?”
