Apocalypse I Have One More Keyword Than Others
Chapter 459 - - 438 Plans cannot keep up with changes_1
—————✧✧✧✧—————
Everyone sprang into action.
Duge didn’t give Raphael a chance to investigate the truth in Bordeluna.
They drove the Chariot of the Solar God to the Forest God, where they acquired more of the poison that weakened divine power, then headed straight for the resting place of the Moon God—Icefrost Valley.
This time, Raphael drove.
Inside the Chariot of the Solar God.
With caution, Nobb asked, “Brother Du, is it time for the final battle?”
“Yeah,” Duge nodded.
“Is the Duge from the Demon Realm one of us?” Nobb hesitated for a moment, then wrote on the seat of the Chariot of the Solar God and asked.
Duge glanced at him and with a wave of his hand raised a curtain of water, isolating the three of them from Phyra and another outside, a new application of the Sea God’s Power he had developed.
The Martial Spirit, mixed with the Water Element infused with the Sea God’s Power, could block sound and even divine consciousness.
Having set up the barrier, Duge said, “I don’t know if he is one of us; my name is too well-known, and anyone could impersonate me. Even if they truly are one of us, betrayal is possible. We can’t let our guard down at any time…”
As he spoke, he pulled up his personal panel and glanced at the remaining number of people.
There were still 171 people left.
This number hadn’t changed for two days.
That meant every remaining person possessed the capability to survive in this world.
This Alien Battlefield was vast and sparsely populated; each nation generally had only one or two Alien Warriors.
Given time to become familiar and adjust to the keywords, and to survive the initial stage, awakening even one or two skills would make it hard for the warriors to be defeated.
“Brother Du, should we really not use the Ancient Deities to help us?” Andy asked, “I think with your eloquence, you could totally coax the Ancient Deities onto the battlefield without killing them; by the time they realize what’s happened, we would have already left.”
That’s because I want to leave a seed in this battlefield! Duge thought to himself.
Duge said, “Let’s see, we have done too much. I’m worried about being backstabbed by the Ancient Deities on the battlefield.”
“That’s true,” Andy agreed, nodding, “Those Ancient Deities are so arrogant. Once they know the Solar God has been killed by you, they probably won’t be able to sleep peacefully. They will definitely try to eliminate you, the unstable element.”
“That’s my fear,” Duge sighed, “Strike first to gain the initiative. As for the Demon King of the Demon Realm, as long as we can gather enough Alien Warriors, dealing with them should be easy…”
…
After three days, Duge and his companions arrived at Icefrost Valley.
Icefrost Valley was also an alternate dimension.
Guarding outside the valley was a huge Frost Dragon.
This Frost Dragon was an old acquaintance of Raphael’s. After hearing their purpose, it opened the Gate of Frost Moon and led them into Icefrost Valley.
Every Ancient Deity had its own temperament and character.
Unlike the high-profile Solar God, who allowed the Archangels to go out, the Moon God had sealed off the alternate dimension when she went into slumber. Even her venerated Moon Elves could not leave Icefrost Valley.
This was why the Archangels couldn’t find the Moon God’s mystical realm. If it weren’t for Raphael, an old-time Archangel, Duge would probably have had to go through other Ancient Deities to find this so-called mystical realm of the Moon God.
Finding the Ancient Deities was so difficult that Duge suddenly wasn’t worried that the remaining three would be awoken by other Alien Warriors.
…
As Duge and his companions entered Icefrost Valley in the Chariot of the Solar God, they were stopped by a flock of bird-like creatures with wings, different from angels; their wings were transparent, similar to dragonfly wings.
“Augustus, the Moon God is still in slumber; why did you let strangers in?” The leading dragonfly man raised his long spear at the driving Raphael.
“Julia, don’t you recognize him?” the Frost Dragon Augustus revealed the chariot they came in, saying, “Raphael, the first Archangel under the Solar God; we fought side by side before.”
“Raphael, you were guarding the Demon Realm,” Julia said with suspicion, gazing at Raphael with a cold demeanor, “what are you doing here?”
“Julia, the Demon Realm is set to invade the Mortal Realm again, and the Solar God has been corrupted by the Evil God and has fallen,” Raphael explained as he flew out of the carriage, addressing Julia.
This news struck everyone like a bolt from the blue, leaving them stunned. Julia shivered violently, asking in disbelief, “The Solar God has fallen?”
“Julia, whether you believe it or not, this is the truth,” Raphael continued, “please take me to meet the Moon God. Besides, the Demon Realm’s armies have already gathered, and it’s time to awaken the Moon God.”
“Alright, follow me,” Julia glanced at him, nodded, and led the way.
Raphael flew behind her, with Phyra driving the Chariot of the Solar God to follow.
Julia stopped, turned to Phyra driving the chariot, and said with an icy tone, “You wait here; just Raphael will go with me. The Moon God does not allow strangers near during her slumber.”
“King Holley, you all wait here for a moment,” Raphael hesitated, then urged, “if something truly has gone wrong with the Moon God…”
Before the voice had died away,
Duge’s Martial Spirit had already unfolded.
Having come to the domain of the Moon God, how could he possibly let someone else awaken the Ancient Deities?
Julia and the others had not yet reacted.
In a few flashes, Duge had already arrived at the door of the Moon God Palace, pushed the door open, and entered. Under the cover of his divine consciousness, the entire Icefrost Valley held no secrets from Duge.
Even if his divine consciousness could not cover it, finding the Moon God would not be difficult for Duge if he just headed towards the most luxurious building at the mountain’s peak.
These Ancient Deities were too arrogant, not deeming it worthy to conceal themselves at all.
…
“Raphael, who is he?” Julia’s face changed drastically as she saw Duge break into the Moon God Palace, “What does he want to do?”
“…” Raphael was completely stunned, apparently not understanding why Duge was acting so impulsively.
Boom!
The chariot driven by Phyra suddenly burst into Solar Divine Fire. Carrying the Divine Body of the Solar God, he flew towards the Moon God Palace, “Raphael, snap out of it, prepare for battle, the Moon God Palace below has also been corrupted by the Evil God!”
In a single sentence,
Raphael’s expression turned extremely ugly.
Reacting to this, Julia brandished her gun at Raphael, her face filled with anger, “Raphael, I never thought you would become the Evil God’s lapdog.”
The Frost Dragon, realizing it had let an enemy in, roared and spread its wings, flying towards the Moon God Palace.
Then,
The entire Icefrost Valley plunged into chaos.
Masses of Moon Elves charged towards the Moon God Palace, rushing to save their God Spirit.
The Moon Elves, untouched by the corruption of the mundane world, still maintained the purest of hearts. In their minds, the Moon God was everything, and they must fight to protect her.
“I am innocent.”
A voice filled with anger echoed through the valley as the cold moonlight penetrated the Moon God Palace and scattered into the sky.
Within the moonlight,
a hand holding the severed head of the Solar God, a body engulfed in Solar Divine Fire—Duge emerged from the Moon God Palace.
Duge intercepted Phyra, who was charging at the forefront, and with a few teleports, was already at Raphael’s side.
With one strike of his sword, he split open Julia. Grabbing Raphael, Duge said, “Let’s go, the Moon God has been corrupted by the Evil God and has lost her senses. Raphael, we’ll draw her to the Demon Realm, use her strength to fight against the denizens there. Lead the way…”
Raphael, puzzled, turned back to look at the Moon God Palace.
A silver-haired goddess in white clothes and bare feet was looking in this direction.
Her face was expressionless, but her eyes were full of raging fury, and she indeed appeared to have lost her senses.
Caught in a daze, Raphael was suddenly kicked by Duge into the Chariot of the Solar God; Duge took control of the chariot himself and sped off along the path they had come, “Moon God, I’ll be waiting for you in the Demon Realm. If you dare… come after me.”
The Chariot of the Solar God roared out of Icefrost Valley, Duge’s Solar Divine Fire completely blocking the cold moonlight behind him.
“Divine King, what has happened?” Phyra asked in confusion, “Why aren’t we dealing with her like we did with the Solar God?”
Duge, focused on driving, occasionally used his Martial Spirit to unleash Solar Divine Power to intercept the Moon God who was pursuing them riding the Frost Dragon, felt increasingly frustrated in his heart.
Unlike the carefree Solar God, the Moon God was too vigilant.
Duge hadn’t even sprinkled his powder before she woke up.
The moment she raised her hand to defend, the powder didn’t land on her, but instead, a little got on him.
The instant the powder contaminated his body, Duge felt his Divine Power at least halved, and its flow no longer as smooth as before.
With his Divine Power already at a deficit compared to these Ancient Deities, and now injured by the poison, his power suppressed, he couldn’t harm his opponent even with spoken provocations while being pressed in combat. What was the point in fighting?
In desperation, the only solution Duge could think of was to use the mobility of the Chariot of the Solar God to lead the Moon God to the Demon Realm, sparking the Divine-Demon War prematurely, and concern himself with claiming those three hundred thousand units of spiritual power first.
Moreover, once in the Demon Realm, the fake Duge might even help him a bit. Once the effect of the poison wore off, he’d find a way to deal with the Moon God.
To draw the Moon God in pursuit,
Duge took advantage of her confusion and delivered a Seven-Hole Touch with Solar Divine Power. The Solar Divine Power, carrying both light and heat, was much more brutal than the Sea God’s Power. It would be madness if the Moon God was not enraged…
