Apocalypse I Have One More Keyword Than Others

Chapter 452 - - 435 Split Soul_1

—————✧✧✧✧—————

“I didn’t deceive you,” Duge said, “Bordeluna, there’s no denying that you’re strong, but strength alone isn’t enough for a great warrior; you also need a will that matches your strength.”

If you hadn’t been slumbering all these years but instead had been traveling the Mortal Realm, seeing its deceit and cunning, experiencing the joy and sorrow of its people, and battling with stronger opponents, your mind would be incredibly firm, not like a child’s, susceptible to being breached by a few words of mine…"

“…” Bordeluna.

“Just imagine, if one day a more formidable enemy were to attack this planet, do you think you could defend this world with your current mentality?” Duge looked at the Solar God with pity and said, “Bordeluna, you didn’t lose unjustly. This world really doesn’t need a Solar God in name only.”

The Solar God’s expression was complicated, like a confusion being resolved yet tinged with something else. Finally, he turned his gaze to Duge’s face, as if committing it to memory, then slowly closed his eyes, “Don’t gloat too soon, I will come back…”

You will come back?

Who do you think you are?

The Big Bad Wolf?

Duge snorted derisively and reached out to grab the Solar God’s head.

He could no longer feel the Solar God’s Divine Power within the head, and although the golden blood had congealed, the head still retained a warm temperature, as if he were still alive.

Coming back?

Is this guy really dead or what?

Doubts troubled Duge’s mind, although he planned to leave after finishing the battle at the Alien Battlefield.

But if he was going to leave behind a failsafe in this world, creating a resurrected Solar God would just be annoying himself.

Eradicate the roots.

Since he’s already dead, might as well disintegrate him completely!

Duge picked up the Sword of Justice and swung down hard at the Solar God’s head.

Clang!

A sharp sound rang out!

Sparks flew from the Solar God’s head, and the Sword of Justice was repelled.

What the hell!

The body of an Ancient Deity after death becomes indestructible?

Duge, disbelieving, struck several more blows with both the Sword of Justice and the God Slaying Sword, only to have his expectations met as neither blade left a mark on the Solar God’s head.

Not just the head.

Even the limbs and torso he cut off turned into rigid, indestructible objects.

Archangels like Miller stood by, silently watching Duge examine the Solar God’s body, feeling a mix of sadness and fear.

In their battle against the Solar God, they had once thought Duge would be defeated, but the situation reversed in a blink after the Solar God admitted his guilt, taking everyone by surprise.

Sea God?

God of Judgement?

Every identity that Duge claimed seemed real, yet upon closer examination, also not real.

But at that moment, no one was concerned about discerning Duge’s truth anymore; the one who could defeat the Solar God in one-on-one combat was not someone they could afford to provoke. Whatever he said was accepted!

The Archangels didn’t even dare to ask about inheriting the Solar God’s Power and becoming the new Solar God…

How did things end up like this?

It seemed they gained no advantage from this affair.

Especially for Phyra, whose face was disfigured by the Solar God’s Divine Blood, even immersing herself in Holy Water showed no sign of healing, likely irreversible—having to live on with such a disfigured face was a horrifying thought for an Archangel endowed with a long life.

If they hadn’t been swayed by Duge and had chosen to confront the Solar God directly, awakening him, perhaps it would have been a different ending!

If they could do it over, most likely they still wouldn’t choose to awaken the Solar God…

In the end.

It was their own desires that brought about this result; the Evil God’s insight into the human heart was too keen, easily seizing on their vulnerabilities…

Suddenly.

A burst of flame erupted from the head of the Solar God, startling all the Archangels and causing a commotion as if a firecracker had been thrown into a henhouse; they all fluttered their wings and flew up into the sky.

In a blink of an eye.

Only Nobb and Andy, the two Alien Warriors, remained by Duge’s side. They sat down on the ground, their faces ashen.

But soon, everyone realized something was off.

Because the Solar God’s head was still held in Duge’s hand, and the blue flame that burst from the head didn’t harm Duge but instead gradually spread over his entire body through his arm.

Enveloped in flames, Duge showed no sign of pain; instead, a smile of realization crossed his face.

“Brother Du, are you okay?” Nobb asked cautiously, so tense he even forgot to address him in public as King Holley.

“I’m fine, feeling pretty good,” Duge responded with a slight smile and a wink of his eyes.

A burst of white light shot out from his eyes, hitting a tree not far away, burning a hole in it, and immediately, black smoke poured out, and the tree caught fire.

“You can control the Solar God’s Power now?” asked Nobb, astounded.

“Sort of,” Duge said, lifting the Solar God’s head in his hand. “But I need to use the Solar God’s head as a medium.”

Duge did not tell the truth.

He had just tried to probe the Solar God’s head with the Sea God’s Power, only to find that the previously silent head suddenly erupted with copious amounts of the Solar God’s Divine Power.

Like being activated, those Divine Powers carried with them a strong will that entered his body from the palm of his hand.
