Apocalypse I Have One More Keyword Than Others
Chapter 448 - - 433 Duge’s new team_1
—————✧✧✧✧—————
Reilir fixed his gaze steadfastly ahead, pretending not to hear the conversation inside the Chariot of the Solar God.
He had guessed the origins of Duge and his companions, and he surmised they might eventually leave this world.
The so-called Divine King was merely deceiving them.
However, this wasn’t necessarily a bad thing for them.
If the Ancient Gods dominating over them died, and this group of Evil Gods with their strange Divine Skills left, the world would truly fall under their control.
…
When Duge returned to Boguluna, his attributes had almost doubled.
Not only because King Holley’s fame had spread throughout the Mowther Kingdom, but also because with the King and most of the nobles gone, no one was left to govern the uncontrolled fragmentation of the Mowther Kingdom.
With such a shatter, it would be surprising if his attributes didn’t skyrocket!
Even so, the second advanced skill from fragmentation still hadn’t appeared, which Duge found odd. Based on Nobb and Andy’s experiences, Pan-Universe Entertainment very likely increased the probability of deriving skills.
But even without the second skill of fragmentation appearing, Duge didn’t feel any regret.
The skills derived from splitting a country would probably be similar to Andy’s ever-changing skills, which wouldn’t be of much help to him either on the Alien Battlefield or in his reality.
He hoped more for an awakening of a skill like Love remains though life ended that would work on himself.
…
In the Holy Temple where the Archangels met, all the subjugated Archangels were waiting for Duge.
Standing beside Phyra were two God Spirits.
One resembled Groot from the Galaxy Maintenance Team, while the other was short and stout, a dwarf with a face full of bushy beard, holding a dark hammer in his hand.
At that moment,
Both of them looked at Duge with skepticism, seemingly unable to believe that such a frail-looking person could kill the Solar God.
“King Holley, these here with me are Wilda, the Forest God, and Stow, the God of Craftsmen,” Phyra introduced the two God Spirits to Duge, and then she introduced Duge to them.
“Phyra, is this human really the God Slayer who defeated you all?” The God of Craftsmen, Stow, was evidently quite outspoken. He scrutinized Duge from head to toe, furrowing his brow, “He is too frail. I can’t sense any Divine Power in him, and I don’t believe he could have killed the Solar God. I will leave Bordeluna and search for a new opportunity…”
Duge looked at the God of Craftsmen and gave a faint smile, suddenly unfolding his Martial Spirit.
Before Stow could react, he was pushed into the water by the Sea God, who also took his hammer; Stow might have been strong, but he was not skilled in combat.
Considering he was a comrade in arms, Duge kindly refrained from using the Seven-Hole Touch on the dwarf. He pressed his Sword of Justice to the dwarf’s neck, “Mr. Stow, do I qualify now?”
The God of Craftsmen spat out the water in his mouth, insisting resentfully, “This is an ambush… I am guilty, I should not have harbored thoughts of slaying a god, nor supplied the murderer with weapons…”
As the words left his mouth, his gaze towards Duge turned to one of sheer terror, “What have you done to me?”
“I haven’t done anything. I’m merely showing you my capabilities.” Duge said with a smile as he deactivated his skill. He didn’t use the Sword of Justice to harm, but instead, sheathed it, saying, “Mr. Stow, my power is greater than you imagine. Assassinating the Solar God is an inevitable deed, and if it leaks, disaster will follow for everyone. Thus, I will not allow anyone to leave.”
“…” Stow frowned, “What do you mean?”
“It means only the dead can keep a secret.” Duge threatened with a smile, “And moreover, Mr. Stow, you are not as important as you imagine. I don’t think the weapons you forge could kill the Solar God…”
“Holley, you can insult me, but you cannot insult the craft of the God of Craftsmen.” Stow’s face flushed abruptly, “It took fifty years of my life to forge the God Slaying Sword. Its sharpness can sever anything in this world.”
“Is that so? If your God Slaying Sword can cut through the sword in my hand, I will believe you and even let you leave,” Duge proposed, placing his Sword of Justice before Stow in a challenge, “If it cannot cut through, I expect you to submit to me from now on.”
This was Duge’s first strategic move on the Alien Battlefield.
He didn’t know what would happen to the planet after the Alien Warriors left, but that didn’t stop him from creating a foundation for himself, just in case it was needed.
“Alright.”
Stow agreed readily, reaching into the void and retrieving a dark longsword.
The sword was entirely black, but the blade was blue. The moment it was brought out, the air seemed to drop in temperature by more than ten degrees.
He gently stroked the Longsword in his hand, laughing, “Holley, you shouldn’t doubt me. I’ve added cold iron from the Abyss of Demons to this blade to counter the scorching heat of the Solar God. I’ve poured countless efforts into forging this sword, and you actually think I would betray you all. That’s a huge joke.”
“Come, extend your broken sword, and I will show you how sharp the God-slaying Sword of The God of Craftsmen is. I don’t even need to exert any strength—the sharpness alone is enough to sever it…”
The Forest God remained silent from the beginning to the end, just quietly watching Stow’s performance.
Clang!
The two swords collided.
Duge’s Sword of Justice remained unscathed.
Stow’s eyes suddenly bulged, “Impossible, who forged this sword?”
He doubled down, refusing to believe and slashed at the Sword of Justice again, this time with all his might.
Clang!
A loud noise echoed.
The Sword of Justice was still without a single scratch, but the Dwarf’s God Slaying Sword had chipped.
The moment the nick was seen, the scene fell silent, and everyone’s gaze concentrated on the sword in Duge’s hand.
Bloodshot eyes staring, Stow reached for the Sword of Justice in Duge’s hand, “Let me see, what sword is this? Who forged it? It’s clearly just ordinary metal without any magical enhancement…”
Duge nimbly dodged Stow’s grasp. He wasn’t afraid of letting the Dwarf see the sword; he was worried that the blighter might get cut by the Sword of Justice and end up bleeding to death.
That would ruin the whole act.
Duge looked at The God of Craftsmen with a smile, “Stow, you lost.”
“Yes, I’ve lost. From now on, I’m at your disposal,” Stow said breathlessly, eyes fixated on the sword in Duge’s hand, “Let me see your sword. It must contain a craftsmanship that I’m unaware of.”
“Stow, now’s not the time to study the craftsmanship. After I kill the Solar God, I’ll give you time to study this sword…” Duge smiled, glancing at the God Slaying Sword in The God of Craftsmen’s hand.
In just a short while, the notch on that blade had healed itself.
It must be said, the craftsmanship of the Divine Spirits is truly extraordinary.
Having this guy study the derivative goods of Pan-Universe Entertainment might uncover their secrets, and that would be a huge win for him.
His team needed a technical person.
Duge wouldn’t miss any chance to decipher Pan-Universe Entertainment.
“You’ll keep your word?” asked Stow.
“Of course,” nodded Duge.
“Good, I’ll wait for you,” Stow said earnestly.
“Mr. Wilda, would you mind submitting to my Judgement?” Duge turned away from The God of Craftsmen and addressed the Forest God, “I must ensure the purity of the team and that there are no traitors within.”
“That is acceptable,” the Treeman Wilda looked at Duge and nodded.
The Impartiality skill descended.
Wilda, looking at Duge confessed, “I am guilty. I should not have cultivated the poison against the Ancient Deities, nor should I have tempted Phyra to slay a god…”
The voice abruptly stopped.
It was Duge who ended the skill.
Wilda fell silent for a moment, then looked at Duge again and said, “Holley, you truly do possess miraculous abilities. I now believe you can really kill the Solar God.”
As he spoke, a branch extended from his back and reached out to Duge, with a wooden vial at the tip, “The powder inside the vial will take effect immediately when sprinkled on the Solar God, but be careful when you use it. Make sure the powder doesn’t get on you, or your Divine Power will be weakened as well…”
Duge, with a smile, accepted the wooden vial, looking at the Treeman and contemplating internally—another talent, much better than these Angels who only knew how to fight and kill. He had to think of a way to bring him into his team as well…
